“Many autistic people use cannabis to improve quality of life by promoting both mental and physical wellness, but until recently, there has been limited scientific representation of this lived experience.

This course will cover the emerging scientific evidence of both hemp (high CBD) and high-THC cannabis with a special focus on the lesser known rare cannabinoids in the context of neurodivergent brains.

We will focus on endocannabinoid system and serotonin system pharmacology and will also discuss how cannabis can be leveraged to potentiate the therapeutic benefits of classic serotonergic psychedelics.”
