• CO-FOUNDER & COMMUNITY DIRECTOR

Justine Lee co-founded the Autistic Psychedelic Community alongside Aaron in 2020. Drawing from her personal journey with autism and academic background in pharmacology and neurobiology, Justine has been instrumental in shaping APC into a nurturing network that emphasizes inclusivity, effective communication, and a deeper understanding of neurodiversity. Her efforts in APC demonstrate a commitment to enriching the dialogue around mental health and neurodiversity, leveraging her unique perspective to foster community resilience and transformative connections. Through APC, Justine aims to make scientific information accessible and to advocate for empathetic mental health practices that respect and celebrate neurodiverse individuals. • Claire (they/them) received an autism diagnosis in late 2021. Not long afterwards, they became involved with the Autistic Psychedelic Community (APC) in order to understand more about their own autism and how psychedelics could be potentially therapeutic in easing associated symptoms and issues. After spending two years in community with the APC, Claire then took on a more facilitative role, believing that the APC provies a critical space for autistic adults to share, learn, advocate, grow, and support each other.

Since joining the community, Claire has flourished and deepened their sense of community — all while developing a more define sense of self, and a better understanding of the wide variety of neurodiverse brains and their accompanying needs. Today, they are excited to assist in the organization’s progression so that even more neurodivergent folks can reap the benefits of such a wonderful community.

Claire has an academic and clinical background in veterinary medicine and chemistry.

Clair is also teaching a workshop about Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome in May…
